Noted For: NFL football coach and broadcaster. Head coach of the Oakland Raiders (1969-78), including the 1976 Super Bowl championship. NFL commentator for CBS, Fox, ABC, adn NBC (1982-2008). Namesake of the Madden NFL video game series (1988-2022). Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (2006).
