Noted For: major-league catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals (1959-69, 1973-74), Philadelphia Phillies (1790-72, 1975-80), and two other teams (1972, 1974-75). Member of the 1964 and 1967 World Series champions. Baseball color commentator for all four broadcast networks (1980-2013). Received the Baseball Hall of Fame's Ford C. Frick Award (2012).
