Noted For: U.S. Army officer, as a lieutenant led a massacre of 500 non-combatants in South Vietnam on 16 March 1968. Convicted of murder (1971) and imprisoned. Sentence commuted and released by President Nixon (1974). His death went unreported in the news and was uncovered via a public records search on 29 July 2024.
